We and Our Chihuahuas
We are a breeding station of the Chihuahua breed with long-term tradition.We were really very happy and pleased when we bought our first Chihuahua.
It was such an enormous fun with the small puppy that we quickly decided to buy another small Chihuahua, because Chihuahuas are very sociably and they rarely want to be alone.
As from the first day we liked and we were pleased by their nice relationship. Our enthusiasm for Chihuahuas increased day by day.
That is why we decided to start the beautiful breed breeding. We started to attend exhibitions where we obtained excellent awards. So our first exhibition success developed and our first litter appeared - A.
The founder of our breed was Sombréro Bohemia Kevin, who won several excellent exhibition awards and he became the Champion of the Czech Republic.
We carefully try to breed puppies of a nice type, with fine and friendly character, but mainly healthy. Our dogs live with us in a flat in Southern Moravia, making our everyday lives much more pleasant. At the present time, our breeding station offers long-haired and short-haired Chihuahuas.
Temper and Social Characteristics of a Chihuahua
- Chihuahua is one of the social breeds and it is the smallest breed in the world. The personality, pride and braveness - it is incredible how much of these characteristics is hidden in such a small dog.

Brief overview of history:
Chihuahua is considered to be the smallest dog breed in the world. Its name means the largest province of the republic of Mexico. It is supposed that the dogs lived freely there and then, in the era of Toltecs civilisation they were caught and domesticated by local citizens. Images of a pygmy dog called "Techichi " and living in Tula were used for municipal architecture decoration - the small statues are very similar to today Chihuahuas.
The Chihuahua breed appears in two varieties:
Long-haired Chihuahua and Short--haired ChihuahuaThe coat of long-haired individuals is fine and silky, straight or slightly curling, with not too much dense undergrowth. Fringing appears on ears, rear parts of legs and on tail. The coat of short-haired dogs is short and clinging all over the body, it may be longer on the neck and tail. It is soft and polished and it is not allowed for islands of loosing coat to develop. All and any coat colours are allowed, in various tints and combinations.
